how do you get the fog light cable from the trunk area to the behind-the-drivers-seat area? i could try and put it through the sheath that runs from the rear lights and can be seen behind the nearside rear shocker in the wheel arch but...i don't know where it ends up in the cockpit and it probably won't get round the bends in the sheath..... is there another way?

and...
does the indicator signal connection to the (front) sidelight bulb connect to the 'major' or 'minor' tab? (...before i cut it to redirect to the newly installed side indicators)

thanks

On my RT/10 I could never find a good way from the boot to the inside so on the RT/10 I SVA'd I ran the wire underneath following one of the lines.

If of any help to you RT/10 guys (maybe in future if someone searches on old posts as people often do for info) I went out the OE rubber gromit under the centre consol at the rear, followed the OE loom up and around in the left arch, and then through the OE rubber gromit at the back of the wheel arch (all behind plastic arch guard) and it comes out in the trunk above the amp.

made it! passed SVA and 1st MOT yesterday and then straight to DVLA to get my plates application. for anyone about to attempt the SVA conversions don't automatically assume it'll be as straight forward as following some of the previous write ups . . . using Baz's experience and 'specials' (components) helped a huge amount thumbup, as did some calculated guesses between me and RT Davethumbup and when it really came to the crunch, an allnight fight with the fog electrics and glued sidelight unit screws etc in the presence of the expert knowledge of Nadine and Bjornthumbupthumbup, deep in their Viper den (-museum of Viper past/present/future!!) BIG THANKS TO YOU ALL AND MANY OTHER OWNERS HERE for all your help over the last 9 weeks - i would love to do the same for another beginner anytime in the future wink
i'll try to get some time in the next few years, to get out of the car and post a few photos of the process biggrin

Well done mate.......
Glad all them parts worked out well for you..Don't forget i only used them as a temp fit so you might want to hard wire them if your going to leave them on....
