Looks nice...

Text from www.roberthughes.co.uk

Dodge Viper 1994 £ 29, 995
This originally UK supplied car (verified as Chrysler in the V5) has had charmed life spending the first part of it’s time in the hands of a caring enthusiast and the latter as part of The Sterling Motormania museum. Finished in Flame Red with Black leather, it is a completely original and unmarked example which has covered just 3,000 miles since new. There is a remarkable portfolio of history to substantiate the mileage and that the car has been kept in use, albeit sparing. We have just had the pleasure of covering 300 miles of road testing and for absolute peace of mind the car has just received the most major service, re setting of throttle linkages and inspection carried out by a Chrysler main agent who employ a Viper specialist. The early cars are definitely the classics of the future and this must surely be the best available. As featured in Classic & Sportscar's Case Histories June 2007, Page 202.

And to think I won it by mistake last year for £22k when it was on ebay and I wasn't able to complete the sale (as I hadn't meant to win it!!). Never mind.

Swift and to the point there Tom, but VERY valid question... I can't really see how anyone can 'accidentally' bid on ebay?? And if you don't 'mean' to win it, why bid at all??

I was willing to bid up to £20k for the car and wanted to be the highest bidder in case I didn't hit the reserve and they wanted to pass it on anyway. In the dying seconds someone outbid me so I banged in a quick bid only added an extra zero buy mistake so my maximum bid became £200,000 and not £20,000, the way ebay works it went straight to the reserve price and I won it. No negative because I accepted it was my fault and paid the final val and listing fee.
