What a great day at Brunters weather super plenty of track time and not a DB meter in sight hehe, not as busy on the track as usual and with the added benefit of being at number 1 gate we were straight out every time.
O and the Princess finally got to drive the Viper readit(yes you heard right) the princess finally managed to get me out the drivers seat cry.
Steady sighting lap first time round but 120 plus second lap.
Shame there was not more there guys it was a cracking day.

winkBy the way Paul you still owe me for the coffeecoffee and yumchocky biscuits.
Dont worry though you can get the first drinks in at the pub next weekend to make up for itdrink.

Yep some new better then me but as I said having spoken to the organisers NO NOISE TESTING OR LIMITS.

Did nearly 30 rides with is £150 quid for terminally ill kids gave then all a ride as well sad but most are more full of life than most of us.

Remember if you pay for a track day then noise testing may apply but if you are told no testing then no testing.

Did I tell you that BIGFOOT was there car crushing sound of that seven litre V8 was superb.

Honestly if you have never done a track day but fancy a nibble then this is the one to do Mitch and me ran 137-140 on the long straight.

Honestly whats the point of headers shocks s/chargers etc if you can't drive the bloody car fast in the first place.

Shame I couldn't make it this year - family commitments today, but I did get to see you Paul in the GTS-R going down the A1(M) as we were heading back up. Didn't bother waving - you wouldn't have seen us in the MINI wink

Notice all the HotRods and custom cars on your way back? There was a big show today at Shuttleworth near where we live. Would have gone if we didn't have so much going on today.

Looking forward to next weekend smile

I bet they would have got the sound meter out and had something to say about it if i clocked up 120db on the drive by like i did last time i went and was asked to "have a rest", and that was before all the nimby shenanigans kicked off.

Anyway I'm glad you all had fun and PDP got behind the wheel, and yes i would loved to have been there and am more than a bit pissed that the silencers i ordered a month ago still haven't arrived. On the bright side at least this weekend i managed to get the new exhaust gaskets fitted so i can at last drive the viper again. with any luck the silencers will have turned up in time for next year.

In the other bruntingthorpe thread 100db limit was talked about, suppose it was case of suck it and see what happens on the day. An announced no limit day by the organisers would of been a wonderful thing

Hey Mich glad to hear Suzy has taken over the wheel, guess youll be in the navigator seat next weekend and will be picking up all her speeding tickets wink
