Could be time for the old girl to go.....What do you guys think it's worth.

Bought it Brand spanking (as a Chrysler Dealer)so UK supplied.
1997 GTS
Only 5500 miles with full history obviously.
1 owner.
Never ever had a spot of paintwork in its life.
Never used in the wet.
Two sets of wheels...Originals (Unmarked and un-refurbished)
And 19" Kenisis wheels (Again unmarked)
Completely original and standard except for...Hennessy exhaust inc High flows. Smooth tubes and K&N filter.
This car has been polished all its life.

Probably one of the nicest most original Vipers in the UK in the fastest colour.

Let me know your thoughts.

Regards
lee

Sounds like a lovely car you have there Leo!
(I'd be tempted myself, but not the right time)

I can only suggest that you look at the kind of prices that GTS's of that age are selling for, both on here and on Autotrader and then set a price against it that you are happy with... (The prices of Vipers at the moment seem all over the place to me, and it does appear to be a buyers market at the moment)

If you decide to sell any wheels separately I might be interested, (depending on cost and timing etc)

Good luck!
All the best
Dave

Does sound a treat. What are you looking to replace it with, just out of idle curiosity?

Thinking that I might sell the CSL and the Viper and get a 997 GT3 to use daily. I've got too many sunny day cars and we don't have any sunny days so I'm getting REALLY pi$$ed off at the moment with the weather, lots of toys and nothing to play with.

Will be hard to part with...never had a car this long and it has been truely cherished to the extent it doesn't get used through fear of damage.

£34,999 or less when you are selling it privately. Too many Vipers dawdling about without being sold at the moment. I sold mine and its still with the dealers; since moved ono GT2 and now onto old mans Merc until a few months more and then I want a Maserati Ghibli Cup; then I will get back into Vipers in a couple of years time. But Lee you dont need to sell; keep and enjoy.

Woolfie......I like it when I drive it but that's not very often. The wife's getting the hump cos I've got too many toys none of which get used. Just bought a 997 GT3RS and that's sat in tha garage since March.

Why did you sell the GT2? Porsche I'm assuming?

Honest opinion, its not worth a lot at the moment.......but I have a feeling that the Viper will be a modern day Cobra in a few years and yours in the classic blue/white has goyt to be a mint example.

If its paid for and don't stand you in major money I would stash it away for another ten years you may be very surprised.

gt2 - yes porsche..(sold it: boring story - not suitable for this forum). Anyway we move on, and i miss the viper, and miss having something special. I agree with paul, but I can also see your wife's point of view: this is commonly called a dilemma.

Woolfie......Reckon you should get back into one now......I know of a very nice car which would suit you.

I agree with the above posts, you should keep the Viper for a while and biff the CSL. I'm after the right specced and priced one as soon as I shift my carsmile

when the dollar recovers in a few months, vipers will be worth a little more as it won't be so cheap to import - @ 25yr low @ moment => USA cars prices lower here (and there lick )
