5 Day Euro Blast
Discussion
7:00am tomorrow we take the ferry from Dover for a 5 day blast across Europe!
2200 miles in 5 days: Home > Monaco > Interlaken > Nürburgring > Home
Only 2 hour window at the 'ring on Friday evening - fingers crossed for good weather.
It's gonna be tough, but fun

Took a while, but finally got here. Lovely hotel with balcony overlooking Monaco.
Not so much fun finding out your wipers don't work at 4.15am though and jamming them together! Had to drive all the way without them and it rained heavily a number of times! Doubt I'll be able to fix it here, so fingers crossed for good weather. And thanks for the advice Mr President

see if you can get some 'Rain X' from a parts/motor store that will help, it amazing stuff and youll never use your wipers again !
i've a coating on my Jeep windows and the rain does just literally run off, and you can still see where your going

What a trip! Did a total of 2150 miles over the 5 day journey and took in some amazing sights at Monaco/Monte Carlo and drove the GP circuit a few times. 12 hour drive from Monaco to Interlaken over the Furka Pass, part of which was in heavy fog and darkness. Up to the Nürburgring for 3 laps and met with some old MR2 friends - bit sedate by normal standards due damp conditions and wiper trouble! Then off to Spa for a look see and home late last night. Amazing time and the car was faultless, if a little dirty and the wipers refusing to work for the entire journey! Luckily MR2 friend had some RainX which helped on the wet journey home.
Might try and post some video when I get a chance.
Here are some pictures:
Parked up in Nice on the way down
My new boat - I wish
Part of the GP circuit
Casino Square
The Hairpin
The tunnel with nice car coming out!
View from our hotel overlooking Monaco
Traveling out from Italy up the mountains
More mountains
The Furkapass
In Grindelwald, Switzerland
Zakspeed Viper at the 'ring
Waiting for the midnight ferry

Done monaco a few times now and to drive around the track is great.. (not far from Sams uncles place)..
Anyone feel a Monaco Munch coming on? (Just out of interest how big is Sam's Uncle's Driveway? LOL! )V1PER said:
9 Hairpin up hill bends on top of a mountain...
Not viper friendly at all...
That sounds about where our hotel was - perched on the edge of a cliff 7km up steep twisting roads! I was amazed the Viper got through some of them. We were in Cap-Martin - is that close to your uncle? Not viper friendly at all...
