Here's a few pics from the Swedish Viper Meet I was at this weekend. (Gocarting, track time, and a drag strip - great time had by all). We managed 29 Vipers in the same place !

One guy travelled 600 miles (one way) for the meet !

cool, the Swiss always have a good turnout, a few to the big Hockenhiem meet which Paul travels across to, I wonder if Marcus was there?

unlike one of our meets, there's a distinct lack of stripes

Few more pics.

This next Viper was generating a tad over 1000hp.

This last Viper was so beautifully customised. Detailed engine bay, bonnet painted inside !, supercharger, customer leather and blue suede interior, dvd screen, subs and speaker upgrades. So tasteful, and expensinve - but the guy still thrashed it round the track, on the strip and laid the fattest burnouts ever.

They were running a 201m stage - fastest car, which interstingly was normally aspirated, lightened, non-standard exhaust, slicks (the absolute minimum of tread pattern) - if I recall correctly was 7.5 secs at 159kmh. Strip was too short for the turbos and superchargers to get the power down.

Sounds like Classic Car Week in Rättvik, Sweden. The whole town is completely taken over for a whole week.

Here's a clip one of the guys has put together. Starts with a bit of the journey up to Mora in Dalarna. A quick clip of the vipers on their way back from the race track on Sat morning, and a longer clip of the Sat afternoon at the drag strip.

Here's a quick vid - this is the guy I mentioned earlier with the neatly customised Viper.
