The remote resevoir on the adjustable suspension on the ACR had a wheel which has a piece of silver tape which says "Factory Damper Setting" and in small print "see damper manual for adjustments" which is all well and good if there was a damper manual or any reference to the settings in the owners handbook!
Anyone got any ideas which way to turn the knurled knob to make the damper softer or harder?
As a clue the setting seems to be 5 clicks anti-clockwise from the end position one way and about 12 clicks clockwise to the other end.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Nigel,
If I remember I think someone posted the adjustments on the US site? Do a search here: www.viperclub.org

Thanks Chuck!

It appears that to make the ride softer you go anti-clockwise. However it also appears that the biggest problem is the 1100lbs standard rear springs on the dynamics shocks!
Will contact Hyperco about getting some 800lb ones which seems to fix the problem.

Fitted the 800lb Hypercoil springs over the last two evenings, relatively simple to do and seems to have made the car less jumpy on bumpy roads.

Lucky you didnt have to do the fronts its like de fusing a bomb, with our crappy UK tools which are made in China.

Must get a set of hydraulic spring compressors one day, when I did mine they nearly took my head off (some would say thats an improvement)

It is a bit worrying that all that holds the caps onto the shocks is a bit of wire in a groove!

Luckily the front shocks are much softer than the rear ones so they may need adjusting but the springs don't need replacing.
