That car was up for sale at £38k on PH / Autotrader

I don't think these cars are shifting at the moment.

Same car is up on Autotrader for £38k... Seems weird and dangerous to sell it on ebay with no reserve!
(Seller is likely to take a major loss on that me thinks...)

I have never sold on ebay but presumably he will just pull the auction if price stays to low or complete on ebay and fail to complete the deal.

I wonder what the buy it now price would be?

CARFAX has an entry for this vehicle dated 30 April 03 with 9 miles and another for a service 21 June 04 at 895 miles, you could still register this as a new vehicle in the UK as you are allowed a few hundred miles on the clock which would relate to driving it to and from the nearest port.

He may also be using a 'friendly bidder' in order to bump up the price.
Should the 'friendly bidder' win, he can always offer second-chance.

As was mentioned earlier in this thread, the same car is up for sale on Autotrader for £38k... like anything else they will sell for what someone is willing to pay, and at the moment there seems to be quite alot of Vipers on the market and not that many selling... Read that as you will... There may well be a few bargains out there for the taking if you are willing to do some looking around and make some attractive offers...

SRT prices have plummeted in the last 2 years. a white SRT was £80k @ meridian Poole back then; there's a new Red SRT there now @ £59k
