nipped down to Silverstone today with Colin to see Bjorn and Nad running the CC, Colin had a couple of sessions on track in the passenger seat
a busy track with lots of lovely different marques including a Porsche GT and Enzo giving it some stick, there seemed to be quite a few race teams there as well
heres the pics

Thanks Neil, great pics. What is the camera you use? Some of the shots look like you've used a slower shutter speed, makes the cars look on the move, rather than the usual static look. Please feel free to come again to the next track day we're doing at Silverstone 5th June. Lots of mates with serious machinery, GT40's, Ferrari's, Porsche 917, Vipers etc. will be doing that day. Well worth comming along, you might get a ride with some of us round the GP circuit. Remember your camera and helmet!
Hope Colin has recovered his little outing with Nad and I yesterday, concerned that the pale Scot got a bit whiter...... after we did 160 down Hanger Straight; he told me afterwards that he only likes going 30 MPH!!!

it sounds you felt the need...
...The Need for De-Accleration
and to think full slicks wasnt fitted
camera was my new Canon 400D with a 300mm lense i need to get to grips with it, the pics need editing etc they were straight off the camera but i didnt have time last night. I tried a slow 1/320 and 1/240 shutter to help blur things a little and show a little movement, rather than the usual pin sharp image which dont show speed to well

Just got around to sorting through my Silverstone pics. I like this one of the Viper taken after the race, the guy standing at the back of the car makes the picture. the rest are in the usual place. www.corvetteclips.co.uk/Silverston
