Hi guys one of you must know the answer to the following question or can find out for me any way lol

A very good freind of mine and myself have just imported a 2004 v10 engine & transmission wiring etc into the uk sourced from X2Builders salvage were going to be putting it in a kit car, yes you read it right a kit car and its a 7 type chassis is being constructed at the moment around the engine, pics will follow as soon as i get them, we should be picking it up in 12 days and will have a little bit of time to get it rolling before the newark kit car show.

Now the problem i have as i have been studying the wiring diagram for the engine is the signal that BCM delivers to the PCM Plug C pin 30. I need to know what the signal is. Its the deciding factor as to running the std management or going aftermarket we would prefer to run std management but if it works out that we can't then so be it.

Once i know that i can use the rest of the diagram i have to make it run and its the only thing stopping me from being sure i can make it work.

Any help would be great and thanks.

Ill get some pics asap

Pick the chassis up on the 26th and will be at the Newark kit car show on the 9th and 10th of June and was hoping to be able to start the engine even if only for a few seconds just to show people.

Made a start on the website take a look www.v10viento.co.uk

Soon as i get pictures of the chassis ill get them uploaded

Someone must know the information i need its all thats stopping me from getting this to run

Please help me out

Ta for that not the site i posted the same question in before so lets hope some one can give me the answer.

I do have a good idea what it is but the last thing i want to do is trial and error and bugger up the PCM.

Last resort will be to see if anyone is close to me that dont mind me coming to do the test myself will take me 5 min to do it such an easy test to know if i can get the std ignition system to work or have to buy a standalone system any way i got 3 weeks before i want to get it started so here's hoping...................

I have looked in my wiring diagrams and pin 30 C1 goes from PCM to Remote Keyless entry module and links to air bag control module and then to a data link connector. In the PCM it is shown as CCD Bus +ve, pin 28 is shown as CCD Bus -ve. Is that of any help?
I can scan the page and email to you if that helps. Regards Phil

Just looked at my diagram and pin30 C1 is not listed on my 2004 wiring neither is pin28

So either i have the wrong diagram or yours is better spec than mine lol

Just to check did you look at gen 3 wiring 2004 model year?

If you did then i have an incomplete list which is soo not helpful

Will the chassis be able to handle the torque?

I hope so lol its had a lot of extra bars put into it to cope with the torque and i think were going to gusset most if not all the joins to make it even stronger maybe a bit of over doing it but hey who cares lol

Just as an update have had the engine fire up although it was for 2 seconds untill the anti theft system kicked in and killed the injectors.

Spoke to Dan @ DC Performance and he is sending me a new PCM that has the anti theft system deleted out of it as there is no way to bypass it according to him should be here by friday fingers crossed.

Going to be at the Newark kit car show this weekend 16th 17th so if any one is close and wants to pop in come find us will be on the luego kit car stand.
