Brookspeed

Whilst attempting to locate some hose clamps the other week I spoke with a couple of the guys from Brookspeed, as they are not a million miles away from me, and have spoken with them a couple of times recently, really nice guys... Anyway they have recently received a Competition Coupe, which has just been painted up, and they are back on track with a Viper, there are a few pictures below... Unfortunately they are unable to compete this weekend as the FIA are only allowing teams with three cars to enter, but there is a vague posibility that they may bring the car up on Sunday on a trailer and join us at Silverstone if possible...

Care to explain where you got these photos from, seeing as they are on photobucket? Strange, because THEY ARE MY PHOTOGRAPHS. I took them, and they are available on MY website for the whole world to see....so why has someone taken the time to copy them off my site, host them in their own photobucket account without even bothering to change my filenames, and then put them back on PH, who is in actual fact who I am taking the photos for in the first place!

I'm all ears.

Sorry mate, I was purely trying to drum up some support for Brookspeed, and in all honesty had no idea where the photos had come from, a friend of mine had emailed them to me the other day, knowing my interest in Vipers, and knowing how Brookspeed are not all that far away from me. I have deleted the 'offending' files from my post, and from photobucket... Though I would note from looking at your site via the links you have posted that there is no mention of copyright? (You might want to get that sorted before having a go at people?)

Thanks for getting back to me. I don't put a great big copyright watermark on the photos, as that would ruin them for folks like you who enjoy looking at them. I don't believe I need to put copyright on my site, but will do so in future, not that that will make any difference whatsoever.

As you people downloading them from my site, I'm more than happy for people to do this...its flattering of course, to know that I've taken a photo that other people consider great, rather than just me. So do please visit my site and download whatever takes your fancy. If there are any that you want in a larger size, drop me a line and I'll email something through...most are stored at 25Mb per image, so plenty big.

Its thanks to PistonHeads that I am able to take these photos in the first place, so giving something back is the very least I can do. As a token of goodwill, choose 5 pics you like, and I'll print them out A4 size on super glossy card, and send them to you as a gift. I'm shooting at Silverstone this weekend for the FIA GT, not sure yet if there are going to be any Vipers there, so you may want to hold fire on your selection until I post up the weekend's photos.

All that wound me up was my photos being shown on the web, hosted from someone's online photo account. I'll make sure that in future, I post up a link on the Viper forums when I get any new shots....so folks can have a look at those truly impressive and noisy beasts.

Thankyou for that, a few more pictures for the garage wall would be great!! Anything Viper would be great! I am at Silverstone on Sunday with the Viperclub, please feel free to locate us, our cars will be on show somewhere inside the circuit...
