Baseline service
Discussion
Spent yesterday down in Luton with the Southern Viper Tech, having been warned by Chuck about left and right issues I am pleased to report that no such problem was evident yesterday, everything went back in the correct place.
Full baseline service with new air filters, smooth tubes and Roe exhaust. All went pretty well, but some moron had decided to put a non standard battery in the car, to make it fit they had butchered the battery tray which needed to be rewelded and remade. The brackets were also missing for the exhaust system which meant more welding.
I could be in the market for some front tyres for a 93, apparently I still have the factory fitted tyres on my car, wear wise they are ok, but they have been on the car a long time.........
9 hours after arriving I leave a sunny Luton and a tied Baz to head back to Cambridge. But what a journey home, different car, far more responsive and that exhaust note. At last I have a car that sounds like how I think a Viper should sound. I even diverted to find a tunnel to run the car through.
One very happy Viper owner, thanks Baz
