Will be in London for a few days with my family...any hot tip what to see except for the usual stuff...

Good Model car shops?

you could see the viper engine in the orange Bristol Fighter, but a bit out of the main city centre, and they probably wouldnt let you in the showroom

95 St Martins Lane, London, WC2. Pop in and see Ralph, Good mate of mine. Great model car shop, (If he hasent got what you want, HE WILL GET IT!). Also Just up the road in High Holburn is Model zone, they sometimes have good deals. Just off carnaby st there is another motor racing shop that sells F1 Team shirts and Le Mans books/Pictures and 1.18 racing models. Just around the corner from Ralphs shop is Motor Books at 33 St Martins Court, they also are on the Net. www.motorbooks.co.uk. Now nip over to Park Lane, there's the Corvette showroom!! Then if your all dressed fairly smart (ie no jeans) you could grab a quick drink at the Windows of the world (top floor overlooking Hide Park) in the park lane Hilton. Then stroll round the corner to the Hard Rock Cafe at Hide Park Corner. There I think That Covers it. Woops! Just forgot... ACE CAFE on the A406 North Circular.

Well, we had a good, a very good time in London! Good food, lots of sightseeing. Very friendly people!
We saw more than a half dozend of Ferraris downtown but not a single snake!
One Noble and one Corvette and all over the place Porsches...

Nice to know you had a good time. The trouble with London now though is its just not a nice place to drive around, too many Speed Cameras, Congestion charges, Red Routes, Bus Lanes and Traffic Wardens. Our Goverment wants all the cars off the road!!!!!
