According to the service manual.....The exhaust manifold to catalytic converter connection is secured by a V-Band clamp.......THE V-BAND CLAMP MUST BE REPLACED IF REMOVED.
Is that strictly true ? Why can't I use the old one again ?
its probably designed in a metal that stretches when the correct torque is applied

Anti-sieze and use the old one's then !
Anyone ever bought new ones and know what they cost ? I guess it was the hassle obtaining new one's rather than the price I'm worried about.
