Any ideas about this?

I wonder if anyone has any ideas about this - the side lights on my GTS are permanently on but the light switch is off. I have tried locking and unlocking the car, turning the ignition on and off, removing various fuses, etc but the lights stay on. I am thinking it is something to do with a faulty alarm system - the lights should flash when the alarm is armed but I guess that this time they have just stayed on. Has anyone else come across this scenario?

Seems more likely that its a duff light switch, but you should be able to reset the alarm by disconnecting the battery under the bonnet this will reset the ECU, but don't leave the keys in it as when the battery is disconneted the car will lock.
