I know most of you guys are a little far north for getting to Goodwood by 0830 in the morning, but is anyone planning on going? (I thought I might give it a go)

Its relatively local for me and last years were very good so I shall try to make it to most of them, certainly the first.

Relatively local for me too so I'm planning on doing as many as I can... though I'll be coming from the otherside of Goodwood to you... Hope to meet you there then... What is the building in the background of the photo in your profile Phil? (Looks like an interesting place)

Not my house, sadly! It's just ouside a French Castle which has a hotel (to the left of the car) next to the entrance. Can't remember exactly where as it was just a one night stopover on the way back from the South.

Nothing much to report... Unfortunately the weather was pretty shocking, but despite this fact the place was extremely busy, I can see it being packed stupid on a nice day! We got there for 0830 parked up in the paddocks, had Breakfast while the rain started (The rain settled itself in for the day), then decided to head home (It wasn't the weather to be wandering around looking at cars unfortunately).

Sorry I didn't get to meet you Phil, didn't spot your car so not sure if you ventured out or not... Maybe next time?

Did'nt make it sadly. Had a call out on Saturday for a job on Sunday morning.Hope it was'nt as wet at Goodwood as it was where I was!

It was raining from about 0900 for the rest of the day... Shame really, but the Breakfast was nice!
(At least I now know that my wipers work!)
