First GT3 in the club !!!
Discussion
Well guys what an awesome day I've just had at Donnington !
some of you may recognise this trophy winning CC
this actual viper is now in the UK in the hands of a secret 'Stig' type
viperclub member
After receiving a viper black satin paint job, it arrived a couple of weeks ago from Europe under a blanket of hushed security, but now the cat is out of the bag, and it will be seen tearing up various UK tracks over the coming season
I was lucky enough to get a 20 minute passenger ride with Nad at the helm
it was absolutely amazing, totally different to anything i expected, totally different from a GTS, most impressive was the stunning 6 pot brembos, they way they hauled the car down is unbeleivable and has to be experienced, no sign of any fade after endless hard pushed laps. The grip the huge slicks generated and suspension made the cliche 'on rails' seem very real
I guess the rather large front splitter and rear wing add quite a bit of downforce
The short side exit exhaust gives a very loud note, nothing like any of our cars just as well
this track day didnt have any noise limits
some other pics

there was also some non-vipers there
So who is this mystery guy ???
i thank him for my wonderful, (but freezing) day out !

the steering wheel is close to your chest just like a touring car, its needs to removed so you can get/in out of the seat while sliding through the roll cage by the doors
BTW it eats 100 litres of fuel per hour, x2 tanks yesterday !
fuel level, speed etc is displayed on the digital Motec display, it also has a built in data logger and sensors for competition timing

There are at least two others in the country as well (one at RPM and one in our garage).
I notice on this one that it is running the US and not GT3 front splitter. Also without the resitrictor plate by the look of it (worth an extra 60hp). It's also running on Michelins which should be much better than the Avons we have to run.
If the owner wants to get in touch and compare notes that might be interesting (message me).

You will have to forgive me calling it a "comp coupe" and "GTR".. just a lowly Honda owner myself.
