I'm going to take my car to the dyno in the next couple of weeks. It's a 1996 RT-10 with smoothe tubes, headers, roller rockers, high-flow cats, Corsa exhaust, 'stage 3' head work, cams, larger throttle bodies, lightened flywheel and 3.54 gears. It'll go onto a Dastek dyno. Any ideas of what power I should expect? Either wheel or crank. Cheers.

I was planning on going to one in Aberdeen - a bit closer to home.

Makes sense, didn't know there was one in Aberdeen. When you taking it? I am in Aberdeen quite regularly

I was going to go this w/e but was told that there might not be any staff there (they're going to the Autosport International event). If not, probably the following Saturday, weather permitting.

If this is a game I go for 465 RW 400 is stock so you must be making 65-80 on top.

I'd be very happy with 465 RWHP! Not entirely impossible although I think I'd need to get the fuelling really well mapped to achieve that.

It would be worth checking with the dyno company that they have a "6" stud hub adaptor, I,ve had this problem as only a few cars run with more than 5 wheel studs.Good luck..sure your going to be 400+ rwh. TOM

I think it's a 'rolling road' type dyno though...

If it is then you will get power loss through "tyre slip" as most rolling roads become a bit woolly over 400rwhp.We had then Venom dynoed at power engineering and they found it difficult to get accurate RWHP from our car (they didn`t even attempt a power reading on NOS!) Good Luck anyway, look forward to hearing what figures they come up with!
