There is now a white w/ blue stripes 1996 RT-10 in the Inverness area! Yes, got the car delivered a couple of hours ago! Very weird driving driving it on the left side of the road after having had it for over a year in California. I got a thumbs up within 5 minutes of it coming off the back of the covered lorry, even before it was on the road. Can't wait to give it a proper blast when the weather's more suitable and I've got the UK plates. I think the US plates will attract unwanted police attention for the time being.

Pics will come shortly. After:

1. I clean the car up.
2. I find the USB cable for my camera
3. I work out how to upload pics.

In the meantime, I'm very happy I've got my baby back! I gave it a bit of an airing this evening. I don't think Inverness has seen (or heard!) anything quite like it by the reactions I got!

That's a rare colour combo for an RT/10 in the UK. Looking forward to the pics..

have you 'permanently' imported it?...or might you leave the US plates under the the 'temporary import' rules, to then permanently import it upto 6 mths later? thinking it'd be quite fun wizzing around with yank plates on for a while and under the temp import rules the car doesn't even have to be modified (for uk roads) either until the 6mth period is up . . . strange!

Yes, I permanently imported it. It didn't require much modifications due to it being 10 years old. But it still has US (California) plates on it for the time being.
