I've got a spare 10 of those not forged though, new ones were custom made forged with custom rings and H-beam (eagle rods) But why would anybody want to change them if ok ? its a massive job!!!! i should know ££££££

You might want to change them to raise or lower c/r, or to get bigger valve cut outs, or to fit teflon coated jobbies. there are a few reasons why they might be changed but I agree, you'd have to be keen

Did you know there's a big bore kit for the viper? Maybe it's been fitted with bigger liners?

I bought them from Carl because he let me have them for what i thought was a good price. I have a few other parts coming as well and one day it will get a SC'er so thought wile i'm in there might as well put some forged pistons in and get rid of the cast...

Good move, it's always nice to drop onto a bargain. When you get in there you could get some coated bearing shells to make it spin nice and free.)
