My car has now had all the necessary modifications done and is ready to be picked up. My problem is that it's currently near London and needs to get to Inverness! I was planning on having it taken up on a transporter but the initial quote I got was for £975. I was hoping that it might be around half that figure. One alternative would be to fly down to London and drive teh car back up to Inverness. Obviously that would be excellent fun but the weather might be an issue at this time of year and the car is a 1996 RT-10. So what do you think; go with the initial quote for transportation, look for cheaper transportation or drive the car up? Any advice very much appreciated! Cheers.

That sounds like a great roadtrip. Just drive it. Mine is sat out on the drive covered in mud but it`s just mud and will wash off.
