Hi these guys are looking for sponsorship any one interested in a joint sponsorship or anything else ?

Hi James,

Thanks for your prompt reply, I'm delighted to hear that this is something that you may be interested in and must say I'm delighted that you are involved with the Viper owners club as I am aware what a niche car these are, which is why my goal is to get people involved with the project who can really get something back.

The 2007 season for us starts now! The 1st car finished its initial shake down test successfully out in Portugal last monday and now has a schedule of UK tests being planned for it through November and then restarting again in late January. Officially the British GT Championship will start with a media day at some point in March which historically has been held at Silverstone. The first round is normally held the following month. I've noted down the provisional dates of the championship for you;

9/4/2007 - Oulton Park
22/4/2007 - Donnington Park
3/6/2007 - Snetterton
15/7/2007 - Brands Grand Prix Circuit
12/8/2007 - Silverstone
26/8/2007 - Thruxton
9/9/2007 - Croft
30/9/2007 - Rockingham

In relation to a time scale once again we are flexible, there are no rules as and when you have to give us a decision. However as you can imagine RPM bringing the first ever GT3 Race spec Vipers into the UK has created somewhat of a stir and the car will receive alot of media attention in the coming months. As such we always advise our sponsors to commit as early as they can so they can maximise on exposure, as I stressed before we really aim to give as much back as we can to our associate sponsors.

So you know what we can offer and what we have done in the past for sponsors we can;

-Provide cars for open days and events - Possibly an open evening etc at your premises or any dinners the owners club has. (We provided a race Porsche for Porsche Centre Solihull at their launch of the 997 who sponsored us in 2004/2005)
-RPM open days at our workshop where members of the owners club/enthusiasts can come and see the Vipers along with the rest of our race fleet.
-Race weekend packages - 1/2/3 day packages for guests and members. These have included hospitality throughout the course of the weekend as well staying in the same hotels as the team and drivers so guests get a true experience of a race weekend. This has been very popular in the past.
-Trackdays - We also provide bespoke Trackdays. If you have a look at our site www.mortimertrackdays.com you can see what we do. The Viper hasn't yet been put on to the site.
-Provide team clothing for guests giving then something to remember the day by as well as something to wear for the next time they come!

If you could give me some idea of the level of backing you would aim or hope to achieve, I can look at what package RPM can offer you guys to give you something more tangible to look at.

We plan to have the car on a show stand at the Autosport show in January although no plans have yet been finalised. This I believe could be beneficial to you guys as the show pulls in thousands and could be a good way to promote Atlantic Sportscars.

Out of interest how big is the Viper owners club and how many cars are there in the country? As we are now Viper owners it would be good if you could advise us where to join or get the membership forms to us.

In closing I truly do believe there are alot of synergies between what you guys and ourselves do and would be stunned if we couldn't help each other out in some way. Please feel free to ask if there's something I haven't covered, or something you'd like to suggest. For your own information on our initial tests In Estoril last week we ran the Viper back to back with our 997 GT3 Cup Porsche and immediately the Viper was as fast which was very encouraging as the Porsche has been the benchmark car in GT3 racing.

If you would like to see the car before you commit to anything that is also fine. As I say we also have a test programme starting imminently for the car. If you would like to see it run, you would be welcome to join us for the day and get a feel for what we do.

I look forward to hearing back from you
