they have put my mind at ease with all my questions regarding the s/c conversion and i have also spoke to davie one of the engineers we have here who is rebuilding my dads 59 cadillac biarittz engine. He will happily help me complete the work as part of a winter project.

Looks like i have a list of to do mods now over the winter......

1) New spark plugs and wires
2) Fit roe s/c blower with 8lbs pulley
3) Billy boat / Hennessey headers and exhaust with no cats
4) 3.55 gears
5) 19"/20" i-forged wheels with black spokes and polished lip
6) short shift kit and finally fit my 8 ball gear knob

That will be me having built my dream car!! (well...until i throw on the 10lb pulley )

Nice yum

Mind you i would seriously reconsider the 3.55 with the blower, 1st will be useless. on mine with just full exhaust work (500 BHP fly) i regret putting in the 3.55's and would definitely go back to 3.07 if it wasn't such a chore. I just find it runs out of rev range too soon and yeah it might be a bit more punchy but a spinning tyre is a spinning tyre and you can do that with a stock setup.

I'll second that, stay away from the 3:55 with a blower! I've installed 96 Roe blowers to date and four of them had 3:55's in them and I've removed three of them, gone back to the 3:07. You'll be much happier!

I have a "8 ball" shift knob on my truck. LOL

since your upping the power, youll need to upgrade the brakes as well. Plus bigger calipers would look better with bigger more see through wheels

hi dave,

according to roe racing i wont need this as they can supply a card to run on the uk fuel. I asked if i will find it hard to fine tune and they said to get it dynod, send them the chart with a/f readings and they can send out a free card with a finer tune to suit

i might be wrong but i think it is a must have, as sean can e mail you the program and you can use this to write your own cards which are supplied with it.

ask carl or nad for their opinion as they both have used or own one. i bought my one from carl a few months after buying his supercharger .

isnt it only necessary if you want to make up your own cards? Dave at Roe says the cards they will make for me free of charge will be perfectly suitable?

Dave's a nice guy but he is only a counter person. Out of the 96 blowers I've installed, about 50 the cards were good. The rest needed a little tweaking, not much though. It wouldn't hurt to get the soft ware & reader/writer then your covered. My 2-cents. cool

And the last part should be a CNC billett power steering pulley I can recomend dave's big brakes.

Standard factory item is plastic and over time gets attacked by the heat, the SC just makes it worse.

oh and one more thing lol,

apparently if im going to fit the 8lb pulley or 10lb pulley im going to need a voltage booster for my fuel pump. Are these really necessary and are they difficult to fit?

i had the 8 pulley and had no problems with fuel delivery even under full load.
my car ran fine with the stock fuel pump.

For the 10 lbs kit, you WILL need the MSD volt-up box! Not to bad to fit.
Also when/if you get the pulley from "Big Brake Dave", get the P/S braket from him too!

So did I Borla no longer make Viper headers....could this be a sign of the future???

Viper parts in short supply? They were expensive with Viper tax but soon scartity tax and Viper tax.
