Bought a 2001 over Labor Day weekend and promptly drove it home Pennsylvania to Oklahoma. Awesome car, we are looking forward to many years and miles of fun. The service manual arrived on Monday and I'm starting to get ready to tweak the car. Any recommendations on brake pads? We had the green EBC's on the Lotus and they were a significant improvement over stock.

Thanks in advance.

congrats what did you get ?

EBC's are fine for the street, though some reckon not as good for stopping as the stock brakes but you do get less dust than the mopars

If you ever track your viper most will swap the EBC's out for something with more stopping power

Drove mine from Oaklahoma city to Seattle and I would have rather have had some wheato's in there than the EBC greens!

swapped out to standard and loved them!

Stock mopar's here two.. Rather clean the wheels and be able to stop...
Greens are good if you are not a fast driver and like clean wheels..

Thanks for the feedback. I'll stick with stock.

Bought a Red 2001 GTS, only 5300 on it at pick up. Now approaching 7k.

nice, the stock stoppers arent the best there's plenty of options of available if you want to improve, fitting bigger SRT/10 calipers are quite popular at the moment
