What a great forum!
Discussion
As a new boy into the Viper world I wish I had discovered this forum before I brought my RT10, what a great source of information. Currently changing jobs so have time on my hands, so have spent most of the day reading through every message posted on this board. I have learnt a lot today, thanks!! (Or am I sad?)
When I brought the car I intended to keep it as original as I could, then I went to Baz's last weekend to drop off some money to pay Chuck for some bits he had kindly sent me and now I want to change everything! I couldn't understand the comments on the noticeboard regarding noise levels, my Viper is fairly quite with stock exhausts. Having listened to Baz's Viper I now understand!!! I am sure some of yours are even louder!
Anyway great to have a forum like this I hope to meet many of you over the next few months.
Kevin

Although the car was registered in 1993, it is, I guess to the 1994 spec? I have no aerial on rear wing, battery is behind the rear left wheel.
I found the following info on the Viper club spec site a couple of weeks ago
"Early production 1993 Models have an external radio antenna mounted on the drivers-side rear fender. These early cars also have their batteries mounted in the center of the trunk, between the frame rails. The battery was only accessible through the trunk. These cars are often called "1992 carry-over cars" since they are exactly the same as 1992 model Vipers"
Apparently there were 1043 Vipers made in 1993 my VIN number is near number 1000, so built after the build spec changed I guess?

Looks like I get to keep the most original UK Viper title still!
Welcome Kevin - Like me you'll find that the UK Viper Club are a great group of people, knowledgeable & helpful. Any questions or problems try this forum first.
Look forward to seeing you at some of the events soon.
Enjoy your car - but don't plant your right foot too hard unless it's pointed straight!

Struggled with uploading pics as i do not have a website.
found that i can create a website via my e-mail provider, so I have had a quick go at least to get a couple of pics up as some of you had asked.
Now whether it works and you can get to it is a whole different story...

Hi there and nice to meet you.
I'm Craig, as you can probably tell, and i've got a blue and white '97 GTS which is the best thing in the world for using up my money! I'm one of the lesser people on here with knowledge limited to driving, cleaning and looking at my Viper! :-D Oh well nice to speak to you and happy motoring!
Regards,
Craig.
