Hi Guys,
I tried to unlock my GTS yesterday and the doors wouldn't open. A ticking noise is coming from the drivers rear wheel where the battery is so I got to thinking I might have a flat battery, but its only been sat for four days so what could cause the battery to go dead like that in such a short time (all lights, radio etc were turned off). Any other ideas if its not that? Cheers folks!

Craig.

Sounds very much like the battery. Commom problem amongst most Viper owners. Suggest you get an Optimate trickle charger to keep it topped up. After my battery incident 3.5 years ago, not had a problem since kept on charge.

Yes, just had a problem with my year old Optima Red Top. Turns out its got a dead cell and needs replacing. I hope there is a reliable warranty from the UK distributor. Will let you know. Not impressed with Optima products right now!
