the OE SRT system has been ditched after lots of complaints, if they cant get it right in the factory it makes you wonder about aftermarket

Ditched?
How?

Not sure its been dumped it is certainly a bit of a PITA to set up and fix if it goes wrong and you do need a DRB to set them up.

Main reasons for the complaints has been the ride and grip of the run craps but the new batches will allegedly be 25% softer than the originals.

sorry screwed up, got mixed up with the run flats.. read they have gone off the latest batch of coupes

but youll find a few threads on the VCA SRT section about the problems with the tyre monitors, espicially when changing tyres and false readings throwing up a light on the dash

I believe the system you are discussing is for the new SRTs. I was thinking more of putting that onto my RT10. What I hear out of your conversation is basically that you wouldnt recommend it... correct?

No not really the aftermarket versions should be good just like the stock version (long as the stock version has run craps) No think its a handy accessory on a performance car and is standard on many new yanks Jeep/Chrysler/GM etc.

Most of the stock systems are by Schrader.

Aftermarkets at least don't need DRB's to set them up.
