Any ideas on what days we would like to attend the Mopar Muscle meet, this year I quite fancy the sunday as we always miss the shoot outs and the finals???

I might grace you all with my presence

I might be in the truck though if all my kids decide they want to come.

Just bought a 68 Charger 440 R/T so I reckon I ought to see what the competition is all about.

Nice Lee would be an ideal place to take it or perhaps run it.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Anyone fancy an M1 meet????

So what’s the deal with this event? Is this the one where we can turn up, pay a few bob and RWYB or is it a proper completion event which you have to enter, qualify etc, wouldn’t want to turn up and find myself lined up next to a top fuel dragster.

If it is RWYB can we still get track time on the Sunday or do all the spaces fill up on Fri/sat, i am right in thinking its this Sunday?

in previous years you pay a tenner (per person) or so to get through the gate, if you want to run think its usually another tenner which allows you as many runs as you want throughout the day, bear in mind its a popular weekend there's always lots of queing to run

youll need your driving licence, helmet, long sleeves and trousers (no shorts) to run, normal
santapod rules

they will only put cars against cars, anything dragster'y will run on is own

Made it home ok and cant decide if i should be happy that i know what was setting a code on the viper or Pd that it was such a stupid problem that stopped me joining fishboy on the track. I noticed about 10 miles after leaving, that the dials on the vec 1 had been knocked which was confirmed by the carchip which had logged a manifold pressure low voltage.

Ah well i guess the Snake didn't fancy a run down the strip what with the flat battery after the Row fan kit has been running its nuts of in the heat and lots of short trips so the battery couldn't charge, then jump starting it sending the ECU nuts with the idle speed and finally the VEC its been one hell of a day, but the racing was good, even if some of the vipers were a bit slow to react to the green....and that jet car was awesome.
