Had to drive to Basildon today for a meeting now we own Telewest...
We now have 540 odd network techs for the hole UK and they are getting rid of 109!!!!!!!!
So as of today i am on 90 days notice while they make up there minds who is to go,So we now have to have one 2 ones with our direct boss as well...

GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a good note NTL only had 180 odd network techs for the UK and Telewest are 60% smaller than us SO FINGERS CROSSED

Bad news...I've just come out of 90 days collective consultation and I've now got 30 days individual. Not great, but I'm looking at it positively, and I feel a LOT better for the certainty, even if it's the wrong answer!

There will be other jobs...and good ones. Best of luck!

Well i finally got my letter to say i am OK.....
But there are going to be a lot of changes..So time will tell if good or bad....They already said they are cutting down on call out 4 guys down to 3..
