luurrvved the corvette sound off those 3... if only i could work out how to get analog video onto the pc...!

Sorry i left the services early but i thought the GT3 was starting at 10:45 and i was going to miss it.

Shame the GT1 corvette got stuck for what seemed like an eternity in the gravel at abbey, he had done such a good job missing the other 4 cars that were spinning and then got stuck while they all dove off.

So thats what happened. We were sitting at the start of the start/finish straight. He did a good job getting back to 2nd after beeing 'squeezed' back to 8th on the the first lap. Then the large screen was showing the vette sitting in the gravel with an Aston beside it. Thats racing I guess.

Yep one of the fezzers dropped oil on abbey, first the maserati went straight on through the gravel trap followed by about the next six cars getting all out of shape and parked everywhere, last to the scene was the vette who darted one way to find other cars in the way so he went the other but couldn't keep up momentum through the gravel and sunk, it took quite a while for them to get the tractor out to him to drag him back onto the track, meanwhile everybody else just drove off leaving him there. He probably lost a good part of a lap if not more. The highlights on motors TV didn't carry much coverage of it either so i guess the cameras missed it all, poor show really on the part of the camera man as it was obvious something big could happen by the preceding cars getting all sideways.
