TOTB 5 Qualifying day (for the bigger clubs)

Redline TOTB 5 Qualifying day - spaces available 21st May

to all
we have decided to offer up a limited no of places to a qualifier for totb
on 21st May alongside our scoobyshootout event at Elvington, as this will
be the only occasion a timed handling area is available other than at
Redline TOTB5 itself. there is also head-to head 1/4m strip for unlimited
runs with little queuing. This day may be suitable for you to run as a
qualifier for your teams if you havent already set anything up.

Could you therefore please ask any potential team members or interested
parties to contact us direct or send in the entry form from www.totb.co.uk
We are not currently envisaging taking rwyb entries on the day so people
will need to pre-enter or contact us direct. closing date for entries
currently 14th may.

Please advise entrants that for this test day there is a static noise test
of 105db @ 4,500rpm in place. (no drive by testing)

Not a chance of Mr Skunk meeting that noise limit, so sadly will have to pass. I will try and address the noise issue for TOTB, but I fear that big horsepower and ridiculous noise limits just dont go together.

Would love to start thinking about TOTB for the Venom in the future but just a Spud said,105db is out of the question for the Venom........so will have to give it a miss!....
