Heater ducts

[V10 SPM]

The face vent only blows cold air when set on hot but the windscreen and feet settings will blow hot air. Do you think a part of the ducting has become disconnected or blocked?

Nope that's how the stupid thing works, hot air out of the windscreen and foot well, cold out of the dash and crotch chiller.

the temperature of the hot is controlled by the water flow through the heater box so needless to say it doesn't have a fine degree of control.

Too hot = open window
Too cold = close window
Still too cold = drive a bit harder to get the cats warm.
