great figures Dave, did you have a dyno run before mods, to compare the gains ?

Yep last year on vixpys dyno on an equally freezing cold day i was putting out 460 BHP at the fly and 376 BHP at the wheels. I was a bit worried that the change to 3.55 rear end since then would skew the results a bit but the thread on the VCA at the mo seems to indicate it doesn't make much difference if anything it causes more drive line losses.

Last year Shoebags 2001 acr put out 500 BHP, I figured the main differences were the tubular headers vs the lumps of cast iron on the 97, hence the belangers. I went cat less most of last year but although i loved the sound i feared for my hearing as i could get 105db in the cabin on full chat with the windows down, i could also not get within 10 miles of a track day so took the decision to quieten it down a bit. Between the roe cats and the vortex cones it is a lot quieter to anyone who knows it from last year but still loud to anybody uninitiated so i probably still have some work to do to get on track.

I'll post up the charts when i get them scanned in

Mine made 501 on stock 2000 headers and a Bellenger cat back so it does work.

Nice numbers now

Yes, good day yesterday although a little chilly! Good figures Viperdave, nice to see you again.

My bog standard SRT 10 with 3,600 miles on it produced 497.4 bhp and 525 ft/lbs at the flywheel so I was very pleased to see it does what its supposed to do.

Congratulations Dave on the power increases and thanks to you and your lady and also xyyman turning up with your Vipers, here are a few pics from the day to enjoy.
We will be holding another Corvette Dyno Day in September and it would be great to see the Vipers there again.
Dave would you mind me posting your results,or would you be so kind to post them on the vette forum "Dyno Day results" please.
Thanks.

Viper not only does the biz but looks it aswell,

You could see the huge torque twisting the engine as she revved

Thanks Cliff for the pictures, compliments and arranging the day. It was a good day and came away smelling like a true petrol head
