SVA or ESVA test

I understand that when importing a vehicle (especially a modified one) you want to avoid the ESVA test and get the SVA one. What criteria do you have to fulfil to do this?

They are the same thing as far as I know ESVA is mainly for Jap cars check out this site it explains a lot.

You dont need the ESVA just the normal SVA.....
