Owning RT-10 in UK...

There's a very real chance that I'll be returning to the UK within the next few months and I'm planning on taking my 1996 RT-10 with me. What are people's experiences of day-to-day ownership logistics of the car in the UK. I'm currently in California, perhaps about the best place to own such a car (wide roads, no real winter to speak of). I'm in the process of getting more weatherproof windows installed that will also improve the security of the car. Anything else I should consider or take into account before going further down the line of planning shipping? Cheers,

running a RT as a everyday car in the UK I'd imagine would be a total nightmare,
weekend toy car is a totally different experience

I'm not planning on having it as an everyday car, just for fun. I'll buy something more sedate (and considerably cheaper) for day-to-day driving. Perhaps my initial post was a bit misleading...
