Checked the wires between the door and bodywork, no problems there at all.
when the external & internal switches are operated, there is a strange electrical noise under the dash somewhere, the fuse is ok.
does anyone know if each door has a relay somewhere?

thanks.

The doors are open by a solenoid. If you are having problems with the door opening it could be the switch.

When I replaced mine it was quite rusty so when I fitted the new one I used Vaseline (no rude comments please)to help seal it.

Hi Nigel,
The problem is with your right/passenger and I'm assuming you checked the right wires but you may want to check the left door wires because the two doors are connected by the wires. Just my 2 cents.
