posted by Nigel on the vette forum, anyone interested ?:

After last years problems with the weather in May I have decided to hedge my bets and try for April for the 1/4 mile challenge and if this fails then there is a backup date in July (14th)!

The plan is frighteningly similar to last year in that all those wanting to run their cars arrive on Saturday 8th of April, pay the money

Peak Performance Advance (On The Day*)
Entrance Fee (per person) £10 £12*
Signing On Fee (per person) £50 £60*

or for all those with tickets from last year, contact Santa Pod and get them transferred to the 8th of April.
The track opens for runs at 10 a.m. but the plan will be to arrive about 9 a.m. for a greasy fry up then run the cars until about 3 p.m.

sorry guys I have 26 speed events booked for 2006 I am hoping to compete in The Midland Speed Championship, The NSCC Championship and The Hillclimb and Sprint Association Championship that means almost every weekend from April to October is booked up I think her indoors may get a little pissed if I do any more.

Took the RAT out for a play yesterday, forgot how much fun it can be in the wet.
