Ready to but idealy a GTS but cant be sure it will fit in the garage ok, is there a 'normal' car that is of equivalent size I can try, as I live in the south west I dont know of any Vipers down this way that I can try. I do currently have a Cerbera which is 4310mm long and 1865 mm wide with a ground clearance of 130 mm and fits no problem.

if you can get the GTS sizes into your garage next thing is getting out of the vehicle, the design means the doors have to swing out a fair distance so you can get out.

The doors are over 300mm thick and quite long, I reckon you probably need at least 700mm added to width of the car to able to squeeze out

Um yes, the door problem, similar to the Cerbera. How do Vipers live outside any problems ?

GTS spec
Length 4488mm Width 1924mm Height 1195mm Wheelbase 2444mm
if your drive/garage is totally flat you can push in/out

I cant imagine leave a viper outside as a reqular thing

Having measured the garage again it looks like a Viper will fit and I will be able to get out as long as I reverse in, turns out its a little longer and a bit thiner than our Zafira which fits fine. So I am on the look out for a GTS version, around £30K whats about and any hints and tips ?

hi markys
my garage is tiny!! i take out the drivers window so i can steer, keep tight to the o/s wall and push it in!!.
i've got it off to a fine art as i used to do the same with my c3 corvette and the viper is 135mm wider!!(i've got the corvette garaged elsewhere.)it takes a bit of effort to push it in on my own,but it's a small price to pay for owning a viper!!!
i wouldn't let either of my babies sleep outside!!i would rather let the wife sleep outside!!!(ps don't tell her i said that!!)
cheers
steve

taking the window in/out sounds a pain, can you drive slowly into the garage (open the drivers door and lean/look outside if its a tight entry so youll be lined up straight) upto the beginning drivers door hinge, climb out, and push it in the remaining bit ?

done that myself a few times

Bumblebee has been left outside for the last 2 months as all the garages where I am living at the moment are full of broken down Corvettes.

That's very cruel and at the moment untrue as one broken Corvette (your broken Corvette I am fixing) and the other broken Corvette is being fixed at Raceshack!

hello shoey, bout your rumblebee: it's probably a uselessly helpful comment but there's always an empty garage or 2 available round the back of my (mostly retirement! -not me- i'm only 27!) block of flats and i'm in quite a quiet area in bournemouth (just if you needed to leave the thing off the road a while). think height might be an issue tho! Zed Sump - its my Bumblebee Viper that is homeless not a Rumblebee truck.
Thanks for your offer but I use the Snake everyday so keeping it in Bournemouth isn`t much help.
