Went down to Tonbridge - good viper tech, as recommended by lee..did a little winter service (last monday - got the last of the "reasonable" weather). Got them to check the history, was great to see all the warranty work done in my gts' first couple of years. The car as Nad & Chuck had looked at it previously and I knew that it hadnt had its recall work. So when we looked at it up on the ramp: you could just see the very weeny start of the problem on the front section; and well worthwhile getting to look at the back as well. So they are getting the parts in, and i'll be sending my p&j away for the work. They have done it before...and the viper tech. guy was very thorough..and not in awe of vipers, which is good when its being looked after. Have to trust someone..and know what to look out for..and ensure the car is well looked after.

Could also see the start of the deterioration of the rubber bushes etc (if thats what they are)..a job for a year + time (but fits with the 97 age profile).

I knew I had to do the recall work sometime, so nowish is better than in the spring / summer. The car was in great shape: down to the good work of nad & Chuck last spring; the underneath was really clean looking (unlike others..who let their oil spray from dipstick coming loose at track days..........and goes all over the underside).
