Got to say having seen the Porker at Le Mans I would be seriously worried if the speeds get any higher.

With no wind tunnel testing and no ground effects won't be long before someones car becomes a plane.

Got to admire the guts it takes to do these speeds in a road car.

Bit like the old days of top speeds.

just as frightening the guy did it on drag radials, which arent rated for anything near that speed, scary stuff

Probably stupid not sure with four wheel drive it would have made a lot of difference to the run to hook up on drag slicks...race slicks would at least be rated for the speed....possibly....gulp.

from reading the thread on scoobynet it seems he ran it on drag radials to raise the gearing for a higher top speed. and had to change back to standard 2pot brakes to do it

any guesses on how much power he must have to get 210 mph with something that shape? I was thinking at least 650-700 bhp but i'm sure people on here would have a better idea than me.

asked my scooby mate the same question a few days ago whose's a regular on scoobynet, (he pointed me towards the thread) reckons the word is its just less than 600 which is pretty unbeleivable
