Nad and Joel both use them, there's a certain motorsport tyre in the Kumho range that is a road legal, super sticky, almost a slick. They are good for road use, drag strips and top speed runs
It gives superior grip over the Pilot sports, but has a few downsides, the come with hardly any thread so wont last long if you run them on the street to much and they pick up everthing on the road and throw them down the side of your car, so will pebble dash your sills. Not so much thread, means they aint to good in the wet but you can drive on them if you are careful
