Discussion
WOW, Joel finished at 215 for the day !
with 'a bit of cross wind on the final run'
I wonder if Skunk was flat out, or if the carpet mat had slipped under the pedal
Nad 189
Fishboy/Darth Viper 172'ish with both having similar 1/4's 12.6
congrats to all

just got home from tv and all i have to say is that to see joel and nad today was a sight to beholdit was truely amazzing that skunk!!its quick !realy credit to joel's hard work .made my 171mph look totaly pants but i was pleased with that, and a 12.65 quater wasen't to shabby .all in all a great day and hats of to the organisers top job !
3 top speed events entered, 3 victories I see a pattern forming
I hear Skunk still wasnt flat out !!!
Knowing Spud he's already looking into more mods, testing and tweaking for '06
215 has got to be the fastest viper time outside the US, imagine what the long 70mph drive home must of been like...

I was there and was really pleased to see and hear (and I do mean HEAR) the Vipers doing their stuff. They sounded awesome going up the strip and to have done 215mph was staggering.
I was only in the 190s and was getting a lot of sideways movement on the runs from cross-winds, so would hate to think what was happening at 215!
Huge respect.....

At that rate he got home in just under 20 minutes
How did his brakes handle the stopping from that speed.
Again Huge Respect to Joel and also to Rod in his cossie(i know he sometimes visits this forum)and all the other vipers that ran, this makes the hard graft we all put into our cars all that more worthwhile.

TOP SPEEDS
QUARTER'S
Sweet, Nad had the second fastest 1/4 !
looking at the times the porsches were really strong as expected, though what TVR's were running, I read there was a some PH cerbera's going ? for some reason I'd of expected them to have ran similar times to fishboys stock viper. I always beleived the Cerbera (a cool car) v Viper would be equally matched at such an event

Yep, I figured a Cerbera with 450bhp and 1/3 less weight than a Viper would be a challenge (sounds like better power to weight) - was definatly surprised, and pleased, to beat them all!!!
But Viper's rule the Universe, so you gotta ask yourself just one question, do ya want more power? Well, do ya?
