Viper in accident????

I was coming away from Manchester early on today and glanced over on to the North bound carriageway to see what looked like a smashed Viper(Red with white Stripe)on the back of the recovery truck just a bit further down was a seen of an accident with a badly wrecked BMW ,dont know if this was connected or if your on this forum,whatever!hope no one got hurt.
