Agreed about the cost difference regarding mpg but I know if you put in super unleaded in cars that are meant to run on ordinary unleaded they dont go any faster with higher octane fuel.
Just seeing what people mainly use, mines a gen2 so presumed ordinary was just fine?
Might think of a remap then

I know in America the fuel octane rating is low so would assume UK unleaded is just fine or are the European spec Vipers tuned for better quality fuel?
"Because of the 8 to 12 octane number difference between RON and MON noted above, the AKI shown in Canada and the United States is 4 to 6 octane numbers lower than elsewhere in the world for the same fuel."https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating#Anti-K...

Whats everybody using regarding petrol?

Why do people in the UK always think fuel in the USA is lower quality? Rationally it is such a barmy assumption to make, based on zero fact or evidence.unleaded, super unleaded ? I remember reading a EVO magazine a good decade ago, they ran x2 brand new identical BMW’s for 80,000 miles one on unleaded, the other on super leaded
Then they had a look inside both engines, the car running super unleaded was spotless, and looked like new, the other was black and a bit grubby
I used run both unleaded and super, in the viper
