Fatboy, you are very helpful thanks.
Have you ordered anything from rock auto? Are they a decent company to deal with?
I've been dealing with jonb at viperparts but he's very vague and doesn't offer much help which seems to be accepted by the Viper community

I have ordered tons of stuff from rock auto they are a brilliant company to deal with.
you can choose how fast you want things shipped. One word of caution, if you use USPS economy they will likely forward stuff to royal mail and if its over $50 bucks royal mail may add an additional £20 handling fee.
So sometimes for a couple of quid more its better to use fedex or UPS, wheel bearings oil filters, I get it all from Rock Auto
check out the price of brake pads smile

Think that’s what done it laugh I appreciate anyone who calls a spade a spade but a bit more interaction with the customer doesn’t go a miss!

I ordered 5 Genuine Mopar Viper oil filters on a Monday and got them the same week from rock auto, all taxes paid.

Jeez that is good!, I’ve just changed the oil and ordered poly engine mounts with tranny mounts and brace as it’s a bit hard to get in third when flooring it, I’ll also get a short through shifter to hopefully sort it out

Top Tip,
My car is a 2000 GTS with stock headers. I fitted those Polly mounts about 5/6 years ago and my poly mounts are literally TOAST!

REASON: The metal heat shields do not cover all the Poly mounts! I found out the hard way frown
Here is a pic of mine which have split because the Poly has got too hot and split

Another failed upgrade frown

So when I fitted them on a friends car I extended the OEM heat shields with some aluminium and rivets. His Poly Engine mounts are fine so far smile

You may have to remove your side sills, (when you Jack the engine) Keep an eye on the exhaust manifold where it enters the chassis side sills to catalytic converters.

This is what you need to do with the heat shields or Get some thermo wrap (FAST).

You can also see in the above pictures the correct position of the studs. smile
