hey chaps. hope all are well.
first up no rush im not in any position to buy a viper, but want to at some point in life
i am however having to get a new house first, hopefully my last house purchase. and finally will be getting a garage.
question is how small a garage can i get away with? i have a feeling the garage is likely to be tiny, but want to poke around one or two with a tape measure to get an idea if its going to need to be extended
will probably get an mx5 long before i get a viper
thanks for looking

I always found the Viper to be quite compact by modern standards but the trouble was the position of the seat in relation to the door opening. This meant that the door needed to be opened quite wide to get in and out comfortably. Also with the large centre console it is almost impossible to cross from one side of the car to the other if needed when parked particularly close to a wall on the driver's side.first up no rush im not in any position to buy a viper, but want to at some point in life

thanks for the reply. things to bare in mind
on that though, whats to stop me maybe leaving the roof down and climbing in and out?
A standard UK garage should be fine, Vipers are not as long as you would expect (my Gen 3 coupe is shorter than my 2003 Mustang) but they are quite wide cars, so climbing in/out sounds a good idea if you're fairly agile as you wouldn't be able to open them once inside......... just hope you don't scratch the paint!on that though, whats to stop me maybe leaving the roof down and climbing in and out?
My first house had a standard size modern garage (approx 17' x 8') so I used to climb over the doors of my '72 Mustang convertible
