exhaust manifold bolts /studs

can anybody help me out,exshaust blowing on nearside manifold,local garage never seen this type of stud,appears to be 8mm splined with circlip, car gen 2 gts,anybody know what type of socket i need and where i can aquire one

Are they after market headers??
Will go and check mine because they were 8mm with clips as well with my new headers...

exshaust was on the car when i purchased it at 6 months old, the guy said he had a sports exshaust fitted because the car didnt sound as good as it looked, so i dont know if the headders were replaced, hope you got all your bits on you got from chucks

Just been out to look at mine.
All i used was an 8mm quarter drive socket(12 sided one)
The bolts were made by stage 8 and they have a locking tab and a circlip as well so they will not come loose...And they look good...

Thanks for the info,i didnt take the circlips or locking tabs off,must have confused the guy at the garage,or he didnt want to get envolved,what a plonker Art
