They never made 97’s in Black and Silver. I don’t think there is anything major wrong with it when I looked at it other than a rather large bill for paint after rear quarter panel damage and replacement. When you find out they never made 97’s in that colour you realise why it took so much paint to do a quarter panel.

It did have a good service history when I looked at it, and other than the mushrooms that were growing in the boot at the time looked quite good. I did not however go into any detail as I found a Blue and White which I preferred. (faster and easier to keep looking clean ish) Nb It was over 2 years ago that I looked at it and it was somewhere else at the time. I does seem to suffer re-spray stigma and comes up for sale frequently, I think the last few times have been by the same guy though.

I looked at it as well and can only agree 97's were not made in Black so its a respray and somehow it just doesn't look right. Not sure what but just......doesn't

Unless its cheap, we have a splendid Phoenix in our group that has risen.

Its been up for about 2 years now......It had a 2k resray as the owner wanted black/silver..
