Below is a letter I received from a guy in America, any takers, I must admit I am tempted...
Dear Paul,
My name is Rich Truesdell and I am an automotive photojournalist based in Southern California. I saw your name listed in the US Viper magazine published by Dodge and wanted to ask your help.
The week of May 23 I may be fortunate enough to get a Ford GT in the UK for a story I'm working on, visiting vintage GT40s in museums and in the hands of private owners on the continent. At the same time I'm working with the editors of Classic American in the UK to let them use the Ford GT for a photo shoot that will involve a Viper and a new Corvette.
While I have requested a Viper and Corvette from their respective PR teams as I hope to spin off a second story off this project, driving all three cars on the Ford GT route, I am putting in place a contingency plan to secure privately owned vehicles for both the photo shoot in the UK and to have the owners drive the route with me in the Ford GT (and swapping cars along the route).
Can you suggest any members of the UK Viper community that might like to participate in these opportunities? The first is the UK photo shoot, the second will be a drive from London to LeMans then to Italy to drive by the Ferrari factory (like Evo did but with all three US supercars) then up to Germany before returning to the UK.
I realize that this is probably an unusual request but it seems that the UK automotive titles get this sort of cooperation all the time from what I can see.
