Its England, Its October, We own plastic cars, does a bit of rain really matter? I could understand it if we owned Cobras with no roofs, but we don't
Just clean the car again when you get home. Jut because it says it might rain does not mean it will, this is England and anything is possible.
Could be worse, Could be living in South Carolina!
Ever been to Le mans.....Its Bloody Wet there too!

Le Mans Was dry this year for the most part, not bothered about the car getting wet more me standing in the rain. Just wondering if it's going to be wet how many of the other drivers will just lay in, be a bit of a let down to get there and find most have not bothered and it's a cold wet miserable day.
I only arrived on the Friday so got the dry bits lol, well assuming I can pick up the car today I will be there tomorrow. Currently just me at home watching the little girl while my wife has a day out in London, hopefully she gets back before the garage closes. I'd go pick it up with her but no child seat in a viper and she is only 21 months old so not safe for her to be up front either.
I spoke to Ian Goss and they fitted the old one back in, it was the only solution I think as it's too complicated for long life and I couldn't get a baffle. This way I know it's quiet enough and no drone, I've got a gen v intake and had arrow re tune my mopar PCM with the venom flash update, also got the catch can and heat shield from Doug Shelby. I will have it up on the dump in a week to see what the changes have amounted to and if I'm not happy I'll look into a high flow cat setup that work with the stock headers. I was keen on a supercharger but not seen a kit for the gen 4.
Well Im pleased to say Two Vipers attended the event, a Nice White Gen V and ME, the rain finally stopped in the last hour and no cars melted. Got home, wipped all four wheels off and cleaned the car and chassis, then spent the rest of the afternoon up the pub with the Dog
Have to say the car was very, very twitchy in the rain with the Toyos on!
